What
People Are Saying About Cathryn Sullivan's Acting for Film:
Hi
Cathryn & Cody!
Cody, Madison and I just want to tell you how INCREDIBLY PROUD
we are of you!!! I'm sure it was disappointing to leave the show
last night...but you are still the WINNER in our eyes!! We enjoyed
watching you dance every single week and you were the ONLY dancer
we gave all our votes to! I know how proud you are Cathryn--and
Cody I hope you're just as proud of yourself! It really is an
amazing thing you accomplished to make it all the way to the Final
Four! It was so much fun watching you grow each week--not just
as a dancer, but also as a young man. It is definitely noticeable
how this experience has changed you. You have always been talented,
fun, and hard-working...but as a mother myself, it is special
to see you transform over the last few years since we first met
you into the mature young man you are today. We are always proud
to brag & tell people that you are our friend & have been long
before Hannah Montana and DWTS! We are thrilled that you had this
special opportunity--what a journey you have had! I'm sure the
memories will stay with you for a lifetime. You already had so
much going for you--as a person--and as an actor....but it's wonderful
to see that because of the huge audience for this show....now
so many NEW people saw what we have known about you all along.
I'm sure opportunities for you will skyrocket as a result of your
time on the show. Your dances showed what a fantastic performer
you are, and the interview last week showed what a really caring,
thoughtful, and special guy you are. We can't wait to see what
great things are in store for you next!!! Thank you so much for
giving us the opportunity to come see you perform live! We had
the BEST time!! And Cathryn--you should be so proud of yourself
for raising such an amazing son! Your love, support, guidance,
and teaching have served him well on his path and I know Cody
will continue to do outstanding things in his life. DWTS was just
a small step on a long road of success!! In this crazy business,
it is so much FUN to CELEBRATE the successes of our true friends!!!
And last but not least, we wish you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY tomorrow!!!
You DESERVE it!!!
With much love,
Michelle & Madison Pettis
"In
Oct. Julianna filmed two USC student films in which she was the
lead. She also is the lead in an independent feature film which
filmed in L.A. and Texas. She was able to put into practice so
much of what you have taught her- even crying on cue! Everyone
seems so shocked that she actually memorizes all the lines and
puts something into them without having to be specifically coached
each time. It's just utilizing what she's learned in your classes!
We so appreciate your teaching and the more we experience, the
more we realize just how exceptional you are. We are so blessed
to be one of your students! We're looking forward to a great set
of classes between now and Feb. Thanks!"

"Andy,
the director of the film 'The Guardian' with Ashton Kutcher, praised
Bryce on how great he thought he was. He asked who his acting
coach was, and of course we said Cathryn Sullivan. In fact, they
added another scene with Bryce and Ashton. It was a wonderful
experience, and I am really happy that Bryce had this great opportunity.
Most importantly, as we were leaving the director came up to me
and told me to thank you, his acting coach, because he could see
the consistency in Bryce — it showed how much Bryce enjoyed
doing this. VERY EXCITING! I'm happy to share this with you Cathryn."
Terry Cass
"Two
years ago when we came to L.A., everyone was crazy about Sophia,
my 6-year-old, and just so-so about Celeste, my 9-year-old. We
took Celeste to the agent when we got here, and Matt Fletcher
with ACME said, "WOW! Celeste is ready!" There has been
a big change in her acting ability, and I didn't see it until
we got out here. I know it is all because of your class. Something
suddenly clicked for her. Thanks so much for sharing your time
and knowledge and offering such great classes for kids!"
Natalie Genco
"Wanted
to let you know we just got the call from CESD about meeting with
Joey Paul and the producers. We are SO EXCITED! We're meeting
with Marc Warren and Dennis Rinsler. You probably already know
them from 'That's So Raven,' and they also did 'Full House' (which
Madison watches constantly!) This is so exciting! My
heart is racing! I'll let you know how it goes! Thanks Cathryn!"

"I
wanted to thank you VERY much for taking your time to work with
Bryce. He has really grown in your class and even with all the
craziness (with his age group), you always seem to give everyone
that special attention. Sometimes in our busy lives we fail to
thank those who contribute to our success, and I wanted you to
know that Bryce and I thank you for giving your time and helping
him grow in this endeavor."
Terry Cass
"Thank
you for the Mitchell Gossett seminar and doing so much to help
the Texas youth in the industry. In regards to your students,
I don't have to tell you how awesome they are, but I will. THEY
ARE AWESOME - you should be very proud. I was a children's theatre
director and theatre acting coach and worked with an average of
400 children a year. I would have loved to have had your kids
in my productions - they not only have skill, they have passion!
I am amazed at their ability to focus and to be proud of each
other's success."

"Cole
will be shooting his first movie Home Erectus: The Caveman Comedy
in Austin. Thanks for all your hard work with Cole to get him
to this point! He wouldn't have gotten this movie without you!"
Dena McKeel
"You
are an incredible coach and person Cathryn, and we are thankful
to be with you!"
Valerie Mott
"You
have really contributed so greatly to the lives of all your students...
I've seen Cameron grow a lot since coming to your class last year
as a 5-year-old, and she is very excited to get back to class."
Debbie ten Napel
"Once
again, WOW! Thank you for your special way of working with Haley.
You are blessed with the gift to teach and grow your students!
I try, but I cannot come close to helping her prepare for the
scenes. Thank you!"
Debbie W. Hughey
"Lanie
was chosen to be on a reality Improv TV show. She did great! ...
I really believe all the work you did with her, got her this role!
Thank you! I really enjoy your teaching, you show the kids how
great they are, and give them confidence!"
Theresa Taylor
"This
is Josh Blaylock. I just wanted to tell you that I booked a co-starring
roll for the Burnie Mac Show! I am really excited. Thank you for
all the stuff you taught me. I used it and it worked!"
Josh Blaylock
"This
year has started off with such a blessing for Cameron. He got
a call back on an animation project, he booked a biblical film,
and now he's a Radio Disney kid. Please know that Cameron's success
is a reflection of your training."
Marlene Rostami
"Neiman
Marcus catalog asked Breuer back again and said that he will be
on the cover for this next one ... this is where you come in Cathryn.
They told me that they can always tell when they are working with
professional actors, instead of just models. Then they told him
that he takes direction extremely well, and has facial expressions
unlike any child they have worked with ... ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!
Thank you for inspiring, teaching and caring about Breuer! What
a special gift to be a teacher, and to touch the lives of our
children! Thank you for all you have done and continue to do!"
