Art House instructors are professional artists with degrees in fine arts. They specialize in both a structured and personalized approach to teaching studio arts.
Sarah
Phillips, Instructor Sarah Phillips graduated from Texas Women’s University in 2004 where she received her bachelor of arts degree in ceramics. She enjoys all media, including painting and charcoal. Sarah has been with the Art House since March of this year, and she teaches everything from Clay to Girl Scouts, as well as Young Artist and Studio Artist classes.
Whitney
Hack, Instructor Whitney Hack has been with Art House since it opened in 2001. She is currently finishing her art degree at the University of North Texas, which she began at the Kansas City Art Institute. Using a combination of found objects and fine art materials, her work brings the contemplative imagination to life. A sculptor since her early teens, Whitney loves to work with mixed-media collage and metals. At Art House, she teaches Homeschool, art camps, birthdays, scouts, and events. Whitney is innovative in her approach to teaching and always has a new idea to share with her fellow teachers and students.
