Exposure
All
gymnasts get exposure to our National Team Members, National Champions, and elite
athletes. These team members serve as incredible role models while assuring parents
that our programs and coaches are capable of bringing out the best in any aspiring
gymnast.
Goals and Journals
Athletes work with coaches
to develop and work toward personal goals and keep journals of their progress
and lessons learned.
Apparatus Coaching
This approach
exposes gymnasts to different coaching styles and coaches that excel on a particular
event.
Belt System
The belt system is the latest
for gymnastics classes. Its benefits are incredible, and we are very excited about
implementing such a great system here at our gym.
Preschool Walls
Enclosed areas ensure a safe learning environment for younger children while helping
them maintain their focus.
Facilities and Equipment
Our huge facility and state-of-the-art equipment, including tumble traks and in-ground
trampolines, guarantee athletes will have every opportunity to excel.
At Texas Dreams Gymnastics you will find "Event Coaching," one of the greatest advancements in coaching.
Children rotate from one event to the next while their coaches remain at pre-determined events. This allows children to experience different coaching styles. Event coaching also gives them a chance to interact with our Level 10 gymnasts, who are not only excellent athletes but act as role models with their outstanding charisma and extensive knowledge of gymnastics.
Another positive to event coaching is that it permits us to place coaches on the apparatus they excel at and enjoy the most.
Your child's safety is a big concern for us at Texas Dreams Gymnastics. Safety rules must be followed not only by the children, but also by the parents.
If you are late for class, stop by the office and schedule a make-up. Children who miss warm-up will not be allowed in class.
Children are NOT allowed in the gym without a coach. Please keep your child (and siblings) safe: the gym is off limits before and after class.
Bathroom breaks should be taken BEFORE classes. Coaches will allow children to use the bathroom during class. If you are uncomfortable with your child going to the bathroom by herself/himself, please meet your child downstairs and assist her/him. Parents are responsible for escorting children to the bathroom since it is impossible for our coaches to leave the floor and their class.
Jewelry is not allowed during class. (No valuable items should be brought to the facility; we are not be responsible for lost or stolen items.)
In order to avoid injury, please keep your child's nails short. Hair must be out of face. All shoulder length or longer hair must be tight - not only the front part.
No running is allowed in the EveryBody Fits facility.
Please be on time when picking up your child after class. Coaches have back-to-back classes and will not be able to wait with your child.
Parents are NOT allowed in the gym area. Please drop off and pick up your child in the waiting area. If you choose to watch the class, please go upstairs to the viewing area. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please contact your program director.

Children will be awarded stripes. There will be a total of eight stripes:
| VAULT | GREEN |
| BARS | RED |
| BEAM | ORANGE |
| SPLITS | PURPLE |
| ROPE CLIMB | GREEN |
Children need to wear the embroidered belt every time they come to the gym.
When the child meets all requirements on each individual event, the stripe will be awarded. The stripe is not only a recognition for completing the skills on the event, but also a tracking system so coaches know what events need either that little extra help or extra challenge. The Rope Stripe and Splits Stripe are bonus stripes and are not required to move up. When a child has all 4 event stripes, we know that she/he is ready to move up to the next level! At that time a new belt needs to be ordered, so your child can earn his/her new stripes! The belt system is a great addition to our event coaching, and belts can be ordered at the front desk. It is a great TRACKING AND REWARDS SYSTEM!
The Jackaloops T-shirt system allows parents to easily keep track of their child's progress. As the child completes a required skill, the gymnastics coach will check off that skill on the actual shirt. When the child has completed all the skills required, they are then ready to move on to the next level.
The color of the ink on the shirt represents each child's level.
