2007

Kelsey Fullerton
Kelsey Fullerton received a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of Alaska. She chose the college because of its unique location, the beautiful campus, the coaches, and her future teammates. While at Texas Dreams Gymnastics, Kelsey was a Level 8 regional qualifier, a Level 9 Western National qualifier, and a Level 10 state and regional qualifier. Her favorite gymnastics experiences include competing, traveling, and building bonds with her teammates.

Kelsey began gymnastics when she was 4 years old and has been participating in the sport for more than 11 years. She said that gymnastics has taught her the lesson that with hard work and dedication, you can accomplish anything. “Going to compete in college is a big reward for all of my hard work, and I can’t wait,” said Kelsey. Texas Dreams Gymnastics alumna, Tiffany Tolnay, has been Kelsey’s role model throughout her career. While at Alaska, Kelsey hopes to win an All-Around title. Her academic plans include pursuing a career as a physician’s assistant.

Molly Lewis
Molly Lewis received a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of Arkansas, which was her first choice. She attributes her scholarship and success to the support she received from her family, friends, and coaches. While at Texas Dreams Gymnastics, Molly’s accomplishments included qualifying for the Junior Olympics national competition; placing third in the All-Around at regionals in 2005; being named the state champion in vault and placing second in the All-Around at the Level 9/10 State Championships in 2006; and placing eighth in the All-Around at the 2006 Regionals competition. Qualifying for the Jr. Olympics and being named state champion in vault are among Molly’s most memorable gymnastics experiences.

Molly began gymnastics when she was 4 years old and has been participating in the sport for more than 13 years. Through gymnastics, Molly said she has learned the importance of commitment, dedication, and inner strength. “I’ve learned to find strength within myself and have gained a strong work ethic and great discipline,” said Molly. While at Arkansas, she hopes to help her new gymnastics team achieve a national title. Molly also plans on pursuing a career in journalism or physical therapy.

2006

Brittany Magee
Brittany Magee received a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of Alabama. She is most excited about meeting her new teammates, competing with them, and experiencing life in a college town. While at Texas Dreams Gymnastics, Brittany participated in the USA vs. Japan International Elite Competition in 2005, placing first in the All-Around as well as several other apparatuses. She also participated in the North American Tri-Meet Elite Competition, placing first in team. She was a USA Elite National Team member and a USA Elite Champion in 2004. In 2003, Brittany was a Level 10 Team State and State Champion and a won 1st All-Around at the Junior Olympic National Championships.

Brittany began gymnastics when she was 5 years old and has been participating in the sport for more than 12 years. She said that gymnastics has taught her many life lessons and skills that she will carry with her throughout college, like accountability and dedication. “With hard work I can be the best at whatever I choose,” she said. Brittany’s most memorable gymnastics moment was participating in and placing at the 2004 USA Elite National Championships.

Nikki Page
Nikki Page received a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of Iowa. Nikki is excited to experience college competition and hopes to help lead her team to a National title. In addition to gymnastics, she plans to major in kinesiology and pursue a career in strength training. While at Texas Dreams Gymnastics, Nikki was a Junior Olympic National Qualifier three years running and a Level 10 Regional Champion in 2004.

Nikki has participated in gymnastics for more than 15 years, doing her first forward-roll when was 2 1/2 years old. She said that gymnastics has taught her the importance of accountability, perseverance, and commitment. “Gymnastics has taught me lessons that have carried over into many aspects of my life,” she said, “Like schoolwork. I look for the solution until I find it.” Nikki’s most memorable gymnastics moments so far have been her regional and qualifying wins. She also said that she can’t wait to create more memorable moments while participating in her favorite sport for four more years.

2004

Nicole “Nicki” Felley
Nicki Felley received a full gymnastics scholarship to Utah State University. She hopes to compete as an “All-Arounder” all four years at USU before going on to study physical therapy. While at Texas Dreams Gymnastics, Nicki became the Level 10 Floor Exercise State Champion and qualified for both regionals and nationals.

Nicki began gymnastics as a 6-year-old and has been in the sport for 12 years. She looks up to her coaches and her parents for the support and encouragement they have provided throughout her career. Nicki credits gymnastics with teaching her many life lessons such as the value of dedication and perseverance. “You can never have a goal too big, and nothing is ever too hard if you work at it,” she said. Her most memorable gymnastics moment so far was committing to Utah State because she realized all her hard work had paid off.

Tiffany Tolnay
Tiffany Tolnay received a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of Georgia where she hopes to win both team and individual NCAA titles. After gymnastics she hopes to enter the medical field in some capacity. In her time at Texas Dreams Gymnastics, Tiffany became a three-time Junior Olympic National All-Around Champion where she broke the record for the highest All-Around score in competition history. She was also named Texas Gymnast of the Year in 2004.

Tiffany started gymnastics at age 3. During her 12 years in the sport, she has learned the value of dedication, commitment, and goal setting. “I see that all my hard work is paying off,” she said. Tiffany’s most memorable gymnastics moment to date is earning her first perfect 10 on Floor Exercise, but she looks forward to many more memorable experiences competing in front of thousands of Georgia fans.

2002

Anne Fjordholm
Anne Fjordholm received a full gymnastics scholarship to Illinois State University where she will study to become a nurse practitioner. In her time at Texas Dreams Gymnastics, Anne was part of the Level 10 State Championship team and a Junior Olympic National Qualifier.

Anne started gymnastics when she was 3 years old and has been in the sport for 16 years. She said the scholarship is the best thing she has received from gymnastics but has learned many valuable life skills as well. “Without determination and drive, you can’t succeed,” she said, adding that gymnastics also taught her the importance of team values and hard work. Two of Anne’s most memorable gymnastics moments to date are her first time at Nationals and the first time she received a college recruitment letter.

Tove Fjordholm
Tove Fjordholm received a full gymnastics scholarship to Illinois State University where she hopes to help her team earn a conference championship. She will study early childhood education and plans to become a teacher. Tove began gymnastics as a 3-year-old and has been in the sport for 16 years. In her time at Texas Dreams Gymnastics, Tove was a Level 10 Regional Beam Champion.

Tove credits gymnastics with teaching her discipline, determination, and to strive for her goals. “The most important lesson I learned in gymnastics is to never give up,” she added. Receiving her college scholarship and walking out for her first college meet are among the most memorable gymnastics moments so far in Tove’s career.

Rachel Riley
Rachel Riley received a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of Kentucky. She was undefeated in every All-Around competition she entered in 2003 and claimed the titles of 2003 State and Regional Champion.

Rachel began gymnastics when she was 8 years old and has been in the sport for 11 years. She hopes to win a Southeastern Conference championship and team title while at Kentucky where she will study animal services and complete the pre-veterinary program. Rachel is grateful to gymnastics for teaching her many lessons such as “life is full of ups and downs.” She has also learned the importance of pushing through the rough times and reaching for her goals. Rachel’s most memorable gymnastics moment to date is learning that she received a full college scholarship.
