Welcome to Lorenzo's Bassment!

There are two kinds of people: Those who play music and those who want to . . .

At Lorenzo’s Bassment, we teach a variety of different instruments to children and adults of all ages and talent. You pick the songs you want to concentrate on while learning about Music Theory. You will also have the opportunity to play with a live band six to eight times per year. Whether you're looking for a way to challenge your child or have always wanted to play yourself, music is a gift you can enjoy for a lifetime.

We teach a variety of instruments and are happy to find an instructor for any other instrument that isn't listed here. We are currently teaching voice, guitar, piano, electric bass, drums, saxophone, clarinet, flute, violin, viola, cello, and double bass (upright bass.) How is Lorenzo’s Bassment different from other music programs?

1:1 student-instructor ratio (Group lessons are also available.)
Flexibility – students are allowed to select their own genre of music that helps keep their interest.
Exposure – a wide variety of instruments are offered including acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, drums, bass, upright bass, violin, cello, voice, and more!
Live performances – students who wish to perform are placed into a band with other students at their same skill level and rehearse under the direction of a multi-instrumental instructor. Shows are taped and made into pod casts and are available online for friends and family to view.
Jam Band lessons – students have the opportunity to join weekly instructor-led “jam sessions.” Instructors for these classes are trained in all instruments needed to make up a rock band. (Private lessons are required in addition to Jam Band lessons.)
