Dreams Gymnastics Collects Toys at Annual Parents' Night Out Event
COPPELL - Texas Dreams Gymnastics at EveryBody Fits held their annual Toys
for Tots - Flip 'N Fun on Saturday, December 1. Kids came to EveryBody Fits for
a night of fun while parents enjoyed an evening. Entry to the annual event was
one un-wrapped toy to be donated to the Toys for Tots campaign. Over 50 toys were
collected and delivered to kids who might not otherwise receive presents.(more)
Local Gym Provides the Most TOPS Gymnasts in National
Testing
COPPELL -Susie Smith, 9, made this year's TOPs National
Gymnastics Team and earned the right to train at Bela Karolyi's Ranch in Houston,
Texas. Smith is from ABC Gymnastics in Indianapolis, Ind., and trains 25 hours
per week. She's coached by Joe Gym, who said, "Susie is incredible. She's such
a dedicated, hard working gymnast. She's very focused and it's great that she's
in the top 20 kids for her age group in the country." (more)

- Eight local gymnasts from EveryBody Fits traveled to Colorado to compete in
the State Games of America, August 2-5, 2007. Daniell Lowry, Level 4, received
the silver medal on beam with a 9.575 and had the second highest beam score out
of all age divisions. Megan Montgomery received the Bronze medal on bars. Three
places - Gold, Silver, and Bronze - were given for each event.(more)

National Team
COPPELL - Nine gymnasts
from Texas Dreams Gymnastics recently made this year's TOPs National Gymnastics
Team and earned the right to train at Bela Karolyi's Ranch in Houston, Texas.
Texas Dreams Gymnastics at EveryBody Fits had the most athletes represented that
made the prestigious team. Kim Zmeskal-Burdette and Chris Burdette coach the magnificent
nine approximately 25 hours per week. The athletes include Grace Quinn,7, from
Arlington; Kennedy Baker, 11, from Lewisville; Katherine Campbell, 9, from Highland
Village; Allison Cary,9, from Coppell; Kyleigh Compton,11, from Southlake; Ellie
Heppes,11, from Coppell; Meg Howard, 9, from Coppell; Ashton Kim, 9, from Westlake;

Dreams Gymnast Helps USA Team Win Top Titles at Junior Pan American Competition
COPPELL
Chelsea Davis, 14, from Lakeway, Texas recently represented the United
States at the Junior Pan American Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
In the recent competition that took place November 24-25, Davis placed 3rd in
All-Around, 2nd in Balance Beam, and 1st in Team. USA won both the women's and
the men's team titles at the competition that is governed by USA Gymnastics. (more)
Coppell Sweethearts Drill Team Gets Involved with
City Activities and Community Service
COPPELL -The
week before Halloween, the Coppell Sweethearts Drill Team donned their favorite
costumes and went door-to-door in neighborhoods in Coppell trick-or-treating for
canned goods. The Sweethearts collected 80 cans of food and 56 rolls of toilet
paper that was, in turn, donated to CCA.(more)

Local Coppell resident, Kuay Sullivan, believes in making lists and checking
off the important "to-dos" one by one. In June, this super-organized

COPPELL Madison Pettis, 8, from Arlington,
appears in the latest Disney movie titled The Game Plan starring Dwayne
"The Rock" Johnson that opens in theatres this weekend. Pettis, who
auditioned in L.A. along with hundreds of children across the nation, plays Peyton

Athlete Continues Flawless Winning Streak
COPPELL Local athlete,
Tucker Ribman (8), from the NTA Taekwondo Center at EveryBody Fits, continues
a winning streak that spans three and a half years. Returning home from the 2007
U.S. Senior National & Junior Olympic Taekwondo Championships in San Jose,
California in July, Ribman brought back gold for the third year in a row

New Classes Teach Parents How to ‘Talk’
with Their Babies
COPPELL – Babies have so much to say
– but without words, communication can be frustrating! Now there’s
an effective way to avoid those tears and tantrums by teaching babies how to ‘talk’
with their hands using the Baby Signs® Program. Simple signs allow babies
and toddlers to communicate what they see, what they need, and even how they feel.
As of Sept. 16, EveryBody Fits in Coppell will be offering Baby Signs® workshops

House Coppell on the Move
COPPELL – Art House, located
in Old Town Coppell, is joining facilities with their sister location at EveryBody
Fits on Sept. 5. In addition, Art House summer camps, which were previously hosted
at the Coppell YMCA, will now be exclusively available at EveryBody Fits. The
new combined location will provide Art House at EveryBody Fits’ members

Local Gymnast Wows Crowd, Wins Two
National Titles
COPPELL – Kalon Ludvigson, 18, from
Plano, accomplished an almost unthinkable feat during the 2006 Trampoline &
Tumbling National Championships – he won gold in the senior men’s
division on the double-mini trampoline and tumbling events. An athlete has not
won gold on two events in this championship since 1998. (more)

Local Gymnasts First Year of NCAA
Competition Proves They’re Just Getting Started
COPPELL
– Tiffany Tolnay, 19, from Grapevine, and Brittany Magee, 18, from Arlington,
made quite the impression during their first year of NCAA competition. In addition
to their stellar individual performances, Tolnay helped her University of Georgia
(UGA) team to its seventh NCAA national title as they went undefeated for the
season, and Magee contributed to her University of Alabama team’s third
place finish in the NCAA Super Six Team Finals. (more)
Local Team Takes State in First Year
of Competition
COPPELL – Dylan Schnurman, 12, of Coppell,
Conner Clark, 12, of Coppell, Andre Harrington, 15, of Coppell, Kyle Wilson, 13,
of Coppell, Grady Bernard, 12, of Coppell, and Harrison Davis, 12, of Flower Mound,
were named team state champions at the Level 4/5 Gymnastics State Championships.
Schnurman, Clark, and Harrington were also named North state champions in individual
events. The state meet marked the end of the boy’s first competitive season.

Art House at EveryBody Fits hosted its third annual art contest and show April
3-8. It allowed area students to showcase their artistic talents while raising

Local Taekwondo Athletes Master Regional
Invitational
COPPELL – Local athletes from the NTA Taekwondo
Center at EveryBody Fits dominated during a regional invitational in Wichita,
Kans. Of the 93 students who represented the NTA Taekwondo Center, 100 percent

COPPELL - April 13, 2005 Local athletes from the NTA Taekwondo Center at
EveryBody Fits brought home 43 gold medals from the Texas State Taekwondo Championships.
At the top of the victorious athletes were brother and sister Kacy and Vatti Howe
of Coppell. Kacy, 15, and Vatti, 16, are both black belts and won their respective
divisions of the 14 to 17-year-old Poomse and Gyoroogi competitions. (more)

16, of Coppell, was an integral part of the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Team
that won the North American Tri-Meet Competition held in conjunction with the
