Master Sang Cha is the director of the NTA Taekwondo Center. He is a 6th Degree Black Belt and has won two international competitions. As an instructor, he has produced numerous champions, and as a mentor, he has helped to develop and transform the lives of thousands of students.
Michael Grant
Michael Grant has been a Taekwondo instructor at EveryBody Fits for the past four years. For nine years, prior to coming here, he coached and taught under many nationally and internationally ranked instructors. As a Taekwondo student, he is a Kukkiwon-certified 3rd Degree Black Belt and has been competing in and winning many local, state, and national competitions for the past ten years.
Michael is one of 19 brothers and sisters. He currently lives in Lewisville with his wife, Becky.
Jonathan
Hardwick
For the past 17 years, Jonathan Hardwich has participated in competitive Taekwondo. He was a member of the U.S. Team in 1998, traveling to Turkey to compete in the World Championships where he became the Junior World Champion. Adding to his achievements, in 2005 Jonathan was the regional fly-weight champion. He also is a Kukkiwon-certified 2nd Degree Black Belt. As a coach, he has been instructing Taekwondo for the past ten years.
While Jonathan lives in Lewisville, his family lives nearby in Coppell. His mom, Cyndy, is also a black belt, and his sister, Davin, is a red belt.
Nelson
Cordova
Nelson Cordora has been a Taekwondo instructor for the past three years. He’s coached at many local and national level tournaments. Since becoming a competitive athlete, Nelson has earned a Kukkiwon-certified 3rd Degree Black Belt, and he’s a two-time national silver medalist and a two-time national bronze medalist.
Nelson, who is originally from Washington State, is currently attending the University of North Texas where he is earning a degree in cyotechnology.
David
Myers
David Myers has been practicing Taekwondo since 1998. He competed in many competitions including junior nationals with the NTA Taekwondo Center team. For the past eight years he has trained under Master Cha. Four years ago he became more than just a student when he began teaching classes at NTA Taekwondo Center.
David is a student at the University of North Texas. He plans on finishing college and eventually joining the Dallas police force.
Tony Lunen
Tony Lunen is somewhat of a jokester. He claims he has the ability to time travel, “I was born in 1979, yet currently reside in the year 2005.” When Tony, 26, is not cracking bad jokes, he’s cracking boards. He’s been a Taekwondo coach for the past five years, the past two of which he’s spent at NTA Taekwondo Center. He also was an assistant Taekwondo instructor at Boise State University in Idaho. Tony is a Kukkiwon-certified 1st Degree Black Belt and a National Collegiate Team Member. He’s won numerous state and national medals, and plans on being the EveryBody Fits Employee of the Month in January 2006.
Tony has a bachelor’s in graphic design from BSU and a time-traveling machine in his closet.
Koshish
Khadka
Koshish Khadka is not your average Taekwondo instructor. With a world-view of the sport, he has excelled not only as an athlete but also as a teacher. Koshish has 16 years of training under his belt. He is a Kukkiwon-certified 3rd Degree Black Belt. Before coming to EveryBody Fits two years ago, Koshish practiced Taekwondo in Nepal. There he was an instructor for the Sports Council of Nepal as well as a volunteer game teacher at the Bindhya Basini Mideum School. As an athlete, Koshish has won many Taekwondo awards including four-time National Taekwondo Championships gold medalist in Nepal, South Asian Games gold medalist, and recipient of the Suprabal Gorkha Dakshina Bahu Award from the king of Nepal.
Chris
Adamson
Chris Adamson began participating in competitive Taekwondo in 1998. A graduate of Boise State University in Idaho, he has since achieved several honors including becoming the Idaho State Champion from 1998-2000 in sparring, and in 1998 and 2000 in forms. Chris has also participated in many other state, national, and collegiate tournaments and remains undefeated in sparring. While at BSU, Chris was the Taekwondo club’s president and treasurer. He also volunteered at the local YMCA, helping organize state Taekwondo tournaments for kids of all ages. Chris is a Kukkiwon-certified 1st Degree Black Belt.
While he’s known around here for his Taekwondo skills, at Big Judd’s burgers in Idaho, Chris is bestß known for his eating skills. His picture is up on the wall for successfully eating their 1 lb burger and fries meal.
Amar
Dhingra
Three-time State Champion in sparring is just one of the many titles Amar Dhingra can put behind his name; he is also a state champion in forms and won second in nationals in forms and fourth in nationals in sparring. Amar has been a staple at the NTA Taekwondo Center for many years. He’s been a competing member for five. During his tenure at NTA Taekwondo Center, Amar has also earned a Kukkiwon-certified 1st Degree Black Belt.
Josh
Stuckey
A former Red Raider, Josh Stockey is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he earned a bachelor's in sports science. While in Lubbock, Josh coached Taekwondo for TTU P.E. classes and for three years at Sang Kim’s Taekwondo Institute, where he was inducted into the Sang Kim Hall of Fame for being instructor of the year. Josh is a Kukkiwon-certified 2nd Degree Black Belt and has participated in many local and state competitions.
Kacy
Howe
A senior at R.L. Turner High School, Kacy Howe has many interests, including Taekwondo. When he's not competing, Kacy is attending school, taking extra classes at the Academy of Media Arts and Technology, playing the viola for R.L. Turner’s orchestra, writing, taking pictures, or volunteering. He is currently a junior instructor at NTA Taekwondo Center where he teaches regular classes and sparring. Kacy is a four-time national competitor and also is a Kukkiwon-certified 2nd Degree Black Belt.
Chelsia
Phang
Chelsia Phang may be young – she’s a student at Flower Mound High School – but despite her age, she has a long list of athletic awards. She has participated in competitive Taekwondo for the past six years. During that time she was a Junior Olympic champion, two-time J.O. silver medalist, and a two-time Texas State champion. She also is a Kukkiwon-certified 2nd Degree Black Belt. Over the past two years, Chelsia has added ‘coach’ to her list of achievements. Not only is she now an NTA Taekwondo Center instructor, but she's also a figure skating coach.
Nick
Pizzolato
Nick Pizzulato is one of the many high school students on the NTA Taekwondo Center junior staff. When he’s not studying for classes at Coppell High School, he’s studying his Taekwondo technique at EveryBody Fits. Nick is a Kukkiwon-certified 1st Degree Black Belt and has been participating in Taekwondo for the past six years, competing for the past four. He’s won various medals from Taekwondo competitions, including third place in nationals. At NTA Taekwondo Center he teaches traditional classes and participates in birthday parties, Taekwondo camps, and parents’ night outs.
Lauren
Marsolek
Lauren Marsolek has been coaching at NTA Taekwondo Center for a little more than a year. She coaches both regular classes and sparring. As a Taekwondo student, Lauren has earned a Kukkiwon-certified 1st Degree Black Belt and has competed in nationals four times, becoming the national champion twice. Besides Taekwondo, Lauren also has earned recognition for high scores on the Duke University ACT test.
Lauren is a sophomore at Coppell High School and lives in Valley Ranch with her parents and five sisters.
